Our aim is to enable you to pay the best possible hotel rates for your hotel room. If, after you have booked with a site listed on thehotelmarket.com, you find a better rate for your hotel room, we will refund the difference to you if the better hotel rate is: a) elsewhere than on a booking site available on thehotelmarket.com b) not on the hotel's official site which you can access using the link provided on the relevant page of thehotelmarket.com.

In order to claim a refund you must do so by contacting us within 24 hours of making the booking through the hotelmarket.com.

Please note, the following conditions apply:

You have to have booked your hotel room with the booking company offering the best hotel rate on thehotelmarket.com.

The guarantee is only valid for a lower rate in the same currency for the same type of hotel room that is available for booking online.

The better hotel rate has to be available on a website that is not featured in any hotel comparison made on thehotelmarket.com.

The best hotel rates guarantee does not apply to same day bookings.

The better hotel price must be found online for the same check-in and check-out dates for the same type of room at the same hotel as that booked through the booking site offering the best price via thehotelmarket.com and with identical booking conditions.

The best hotel rates guarantee does not apply to bookings for hotel rooms made in connection with or using loyalty points or any other type of reward scheme or promotion progam, frequent stay schemes or membership rates.

Hotel rates are frequently updated and changed and therefore our best rate guarantee only applies for 24 hours from the moment you made your booking on the hotelmarket.com.

You must contact us by email: priceguarantee@thehotelmarket.com within 24 hours of booking your hotel room from the booking site that offered the best rate, via thehotelmarket.com. You should include the following information on your email: your name, reservation number, a copy of the confirmation e-mail/voucher and details of the website where the lower price is available. We cannot consider claims where emails do not include all the required information or information is incorrect.

The better rate must be bookable online within the 24 hour period, when we validate your claim. Please note that screen shots will not be accepted as evidence.

Your reservation through a booking site via thehotelmarket.com must be completed and not cancelled, in order for a claim for a refund of the difference between the price paid and the better price to be considered.

The best hotel rates guarantee does not apply to better prices offered for hotel bookings where the actual hotel is not named until after the booking has been made.

Your reservation through a booking site featured on thehotelmarket.com must not be the subject of a no-show.

In the event that your claim is accepted and a refund is payable, the refund of the price difference will be made within 30 days following the check-out date of your booking with the booking site via thehotelmarket.com. Payments can only be made to PayPal accounts or bank accounts in the USA and Australia.
